Every October retailers, brands and organizations launch pink campaigns to generate awareness, funding and support to find a cure for breast cancer in honor of breast cancer awareness month. Just because it isn't October, doesn't mean you can’t shop for a cure this summer!
Here is a roundup of some of my absolute favorite products and brands that are doing some great things for breast cancer awareness. Spending some time shopping is great. Shopping for a cause is even better.
If you don't want to purchase apparel or goods, there are organizations all over the country that are in need of funding to deliver all forms of support to families that are fighting breast cancer. One organization that is doing amazing work in Massachusetts is Miss Pink Pageant.
Miss Pink's goal is to provide emotional and financial support to women and their families struggling to fight breast cancer. Their signature event is an annual benefit that celebrates the life of breast cancer survivors and the true beauty, courage and hope that they each possess. It has grown to serve as a community for breast cancer survivors and their families to come together in support. As an attendee of the event for the past two years, I can say the work that Miss Pink does for the entire community is exceptional.
